Annual Report 2019-20

Al Madinah Achievers:

The Al Madinah understands just how crucial comprehensive preparation is in cracking JEE , NEET exams, which is why the school offers a School Integrated Entrance Training in hope to produce top rankers in many competitive examinations such as NEET,IIT-JEE, and National and International Olympiads, Spell bee etc.

Spell Bee international Language of life. Many of our students participated and won prizes. Most remarkable one is that our student Abdullah.B.K from grade II and Abdul Rahman from grade VI had cleared their national level competition and they are selected for the International Level.

This academic year our students has participated in Tamil language Olympiad conducted by Humming Bird Education Ltd. Our student won prize in National level

Mohamed Jessina from grade I and Fathima.S from grade II won the gold medal. Powsul Haadhiya Fathima. O from grade I and Sukanthan from grade II won the silver medal.

Ashika from grade III and Abdur Rahman from grade II won the bronze medal.
• Our students took part in Science Olympiad. Aadhil from grade III won the gold medal in school level.
• Thiruvalluvar Academy conducted competition for students in different category like handwriting, Essay Writing, Drawing etc. from Grade I to Grade VIII. 35 students got Ist class and 46 students got IInd class.
• Our school students participated in state level Hindi calligraphy competition.

Sports:

Our School Kabbadi team participated in “ Madurai Sahodaya Kabbadi Tournament” among 114 Cbse Schools they won the 5th Position and the received the “ Best Defence Team award” under 15 category.

Our students participated in “Southern Regional Shinji Dai Championship 2019” for karate and secured first prizes in different category.

Our students participated in "Nellai Junior Athletic Meet". Yasar from grade VII got 1st prize in 200m running and Mohamed Hatheem from grade VIII got 3rd prize in 400m running.

Our students participated in Khokho competition organised by Stacg HT Tech School in Tenkasi district and they won the runner up.

Awareness Programmes:

Dengue awareness program and Hand Wash awareness program was conducted in our school premises.

On behalf of our school we conducted rally on the awareness about safeguarding the environment.

Our school Guidance and Counselling Department conducted "Adult Education Program" for higher grade boys and girls.

Scouts and Guide:

The scouts unit has been started in our school this academic year.District Asst. Scout trainer Mr.Avudaiappan gave introduction about the duties of the scout.

Our Scout students attended two days scout training session in M.N.Abdurrahuman Hr.Sec.School.

Our scout students had attended one day scout training session in kanyakumari.This report is a sincere attempt to showcase our progress in terms of achievements and activities during this year. On this memorable occasion as we recount our success with pride and happiness, we wish to dedicate all our achievements to the committed effort of a committed team of eminent trustees, dedicated staffs and enthusiastic students. We humbly seek the almighty’s divine grace and blessings to guide us in all our endeavors. We are very grateful to parents for their unswerving positive support for the school and the students.

CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS

• The academic year began with activities involving hands on experience and enhancing fine motor and gross motor skills development.
• ummah prayers are being held every Friday in the school
• Spoken English trainer has been appointed to improve spoken skills through listening and speaking
• Eye and dental camps were held to facilitate the assessment of child”s growth and development through the school years.
• Science expo for kindergarten and grade1 to VIII students were held in our school to discover budding scientists

For continuous upgradation of knowledge and skills, our teachers attended various workshops and seminars organized by the school and others so as to improve their academic transaction skills and to update their capabilities.

Academic

• Academic achievements reflect a demonstrated ability to perform to the best of one’s ability by developing one’s intellectual potentials and skills with diligence and ardour.
• Zulfiya from grade 5 won the first prize in Science Fair organised by TISWA & OMIET.
• Several students won’ school topper medal’ and ‘achievement certificate ‘in the Spell Bee Competition at the second level.
• Students won II and III prizes in Quiz and literary competitions held at Golden Jubilee School.
• Students won several prizes for hand writing competition organised by Brain “O” Brain

Sports

Students won II and III prize in Running Race and Board jump held at BCV Holy Angels International School

Grade 6 and 7 students won 1 and 2 prizes in 19 th State level Karate Competition

Awareness Program

Our students performed a skit on corruption at Santhai ,Melapalayam Recycle of waste products program was organized for the school students.

Donated contributions of students for Kerala victims and Gaja cyclone

Many milestones have been achieved and many still have to be reached. We will continue our unceasing efforts to mould the young minds into well balanced personalities with confidence and zeal befitting the standards of education.

Annual Report 2017-18

Academics

Achieving academic excellence is at the heart of endeavour of all educational and academic institutions. There have been many changes at the school this year in terms of high expectations, communication, professional development, technology, and above all, academics.
• Inorder to enhance holistic development in students we strictly inculcate punctuality, discipline and importance of cleanliness in them.
• Important emphasis is given on developing communication skills in students by improving their speaking and listening skills. Guidelines have been set for effective interaction between student-teacher and student-student to be only in English inside the school campus.
• We are constantly experimenting new techniques & new methods in teaching inorder to engage our student and get excited about learning. One of them is interactive book method which is followed from classes U.K.G to Grade III.

Changes and Development:

Few changes and infrastructural developments have taken place in the school and I personally thank the management for providing the infrastructure and for their constant support and encouragement.
• Hifz classes have been introduced this year with the focus on memorization of Quran and learning Islamic obligations.
• For all round development we focus on imparting extra-curricular activities which includes indoor and outdoor games.
• Various club activities, planned by the teachers are executed with active participation by the students to hone their latent skills.
• We celebrated food festival on Children’s Day by offering nutritious, meals prepared by our staff
• Our school organised field trips to help our students gain first-hand knowledge and enhance their academic learning. They were taken to the post office, science centre, Mushroom farms & book fair etc

• We have introduced Smart Classes on an experimental basis as an aid of learning on the audio-video theory of learning.
• We have a huge collection of library books in our school. Students are trying to improve their reading skills by reading the story books, literary and periodicals regularly.
• A book fair was held in our school campus inorder to promote the habit of reading in children.
• The GO GREEN initiative is today’s trend among school children. The students are taught to plant seedlings in the school garden to make them aware of the importance of trees and to protect the environment.
• TO give maximum exposure to the students at the school level, we have initiated maximum students to participate in various types of All India Competitions. This year only, our students took part in the following competitions:-
  * VISTO
  * All India Talent Exam for maths and science
  * T.I.M.E scholarship exam.
• Our students won first runner’s up award in “Spelling Bee competition”.
• F As part of assisting the all-round development of students with required social awareness. Dengue Awareness Programme was held on 22-October-2017 students & teachers participated in these rallies under the leadership of our distinguished collector “Mr. Sandeep Nanduri I.A.S”.
• F Every month parent teacher contact session provides an opportunity to review the progress of the students. The ongoing remedial classes for slow learners have been conducted by the teachers.
